My band members are all 100 in every department. Every song is written for 3 days, recorded in the maximum level studio and then released and promoted for 3 days. I have brought all sales, fame, promotion, recording and writing perks from the shop, but many people are having songs with levels in the mid 3000s, so I am wondering, how do I get there? Do I keep practising even though my band are fully level out? Any help is appreciated!

Just keep grinding them out. You need more fame. I'm in the same boat as I've only been on here a little longer than you. I will say having more than 1 band WILL help you. I have 2 accounts that I started to test against each other basically. 1 of them has 1 band all maxed and the other, this one, has many. My account with 1 band struggles and that band can't reach the same levels as the bands on this account that help with the shared fame of each other.....Basically, being signed to a BIGGER label helps the bands get their name out there more than a small label. That's how I view it at least. I am still new to this all as well though

Yes, your band needs to have fame to compete with the older bands.
One way to quickly increase fame of your songs is to buy items from the shop. This can give fame bonus which will help in charts.

So I started a new band who are basically equal with my current one, and their single got 3.4k rating, however my original band is still stuck just below 3000. Is there anything I can do to improve them if their stats are maxed out and the band member count is the same? Or are they just doomed to not be as good, because my other band have equal stats other than the singer's gigging, yet their song was much better.
